An idea is your first brick

An AI brick builder for ideas you want to make real.

Describe a yellow bus, a moon base or a dinosaur. Brick Bot turns your words into an editable 3D brick model—not just a picture of one. Paid AI generations include building instructions and a parts list to shop for the real pieces on LEGO.com.

Sign-in required. Manual building and smash mode are free; AI generation uses prepaid credits. Physical bricks are a separate purchase.

From a text prompt to a brick model

  1. Tell Brick Bot what to build. Open the Studio’s AI panel and name the subject. Add its main color, recognizable features and a simple pose or setting.
  2. Let the AI design it. Brickoodle adds an internal building brief to your idea and generates the design in one AI pass. A 3D generation can use up to 500 pieces. Expect several minutes, not an instant image.
  3. Inspect and edit your model. Turn it around in the Studio, check the details, and move or recolor supported pieces. Generations save to your account, so you can return on another device.
  4. Use the included building pack. Open the instructions and LEGO upload list for your generated design. Upload the list at LEGO Pick a Brick, review the available pieces, and pay LEGO directly for the bricks.

Give the builder a clear target

A short idea works, but the details you care about are worth spelling out. Try this prompt:

“A yellow school bus with a black stripe, a flat front, blue windows and four black wheels. Keep it compact and easy to recognize.”

This is an example prompt, not a promise of a particular result. Start with one main subject. Add two or three distinctive features instead of a long list of tiny details. For freestanding models, ask for a broad base and sturdy connections.

Already have a reference? You can also start a 3D brick model from a photo.

What your AI pack includes

The current 3D Design Pack is $14.99 for 3 generations. Each generation includes instructions and a LEGO upload list. Eligible existing 3D-pack customers can add 2 more 3D generations for $9.99. Prices are in USD; there is no subscription.

A new attempt uses another credit. Failed generations return their credit. Check all current pack options.

Before you build it for real

AI designs are a starting point, not a physical engineering certification. Check connections, balance, overhangs and the base before buying pieces. You may need to adjust a design for real-world stability.

The parts list maps supported pieces to LEGO elements. Stock, prices and colors can change before checkout. Brickoodle does not sell or ship the physical bricks.

AI brick builder questions

Is this a free LEGO AI generator?

Manual building and smash mode are free after sign-in. AI generation is paid and uses prepaid packs. Brickoodle is an independent tool, not an official LEGO service.

Do I get instructions or just an AI image?

You get an editable digital brick model. The paid generation includes building instructions and a parts list for the model, not just a decorative image. Real-world assembly may still need adjustments.

Can I leave while it generates?

Yes. Background generation continues after you close the tab. Sign back into the same account to see its status or open the saved result, including on another device.

Can I turn a picture into a flat mosaic instead?

Yes. The photo workflow offers a flat 32×32 mosaic or a 3D build. The photo mosaic guide explains the differences and pricing.
